Three Westerville City Schools high school students are recipients of the Rotary Club of Westerville’s 2025 Service Above Self Scholarships.

The Club has now awarded more than $600,000 in college scholarships to local graduates, dating back to 1964.

Westerville North High School senior Natan Tsegay was selected for a $10,000 scholarship for 2025. He is involved with the Black Student Union, Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee, Hope Squad, Global Scholars and National Honor Society. He played for the school’s football and track teams. He has been involved with ICAN for the entire school year. Tsegay plans to attend Ohio University this fall.

Westerville Central High School senior Alex Blake and WNHS senior Annie Wu both received $5,000 scholarships for 2025. Blake, who plans to attend Ohio State University, is involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, Key Club, Link Crew, Global Scholars and Hope Squad. He has worked on ICAN for half of the school year.

Wu, who will attend Ohio University, has been involved in WNHS’ Interact Club all four years and has served as vice president and president. She has also served as captain of the cross country team and is a member of the Baking Club, Silhouette Club, Astronomy Club. She has also volunteered as an election poll worker.

The Rotary Club of Westerville will recognize the three 2025 Service Above Self Scholarship winners at its June 12 luncheon meeting.
