Today was a fun meeting on the road at OhioHealth. We inducted our newest member Kim Horn Millington who is already helping the community in so many ways! In honor of World Mental Health day, Kristie McClure, Senior Advisor of Well-Being for OhioHealth, shared with us about the effects of stress, resiliency, self care, and how to demonstrate compassion. Rotary District 6690
District 6690 needs volunteers to help for a Veteran's Rally on November 10th at the Veteran's Memorial in downtown Columbus. This is a family event, and the main objective of the Rally is to encourage veterans to talk with other veterans and for the public to recognize and thank those who served. There will be music, a magic show, public presentations, and opportunities to thank our Veterans for their service. We need about 20 volunteers.
