The deadline to apply for $20,000 in Rotary Club of Westerville 2024 Service Above Scholarships for 2024 is fast approaching!

Any Westerville school district resident graduating in the Class of 2024 from Westerville Central, Westerville North, Westerville South or St. Francis DeSales high schools is eligible to apply. Special attention in the Service Above Self scholarship screening is paid to applicants’ community service.

The Westerville Rotary Foundation has committed $20,000 for the 2024 Service Above Self Scholarship program, in awards to one or more students.

This year’s application deadline is March 22. The school district’s common application for community scholarships is not considered, to allow our Scholarship Committee the ability to focus on applicants’ community service.

Applications for the Rotary Scholarship are available in the guidance counselor offices at each local high school.

New this year, students can apply with an online form, at this link. They also can download and fill out our print application here. Full 2024 Service Above Self Scholarship Guidelines are available here.

Since 1964, the Rotary Club of Westerville has awarded more than $550,000 in college scholarships to local high school graduates.

The community tradition began with a single Rotary Scholarship of $500 to one student, to attend nursing school at what then was Otterbein College.

Since 2022, our service club has awarded $20,000 in the Service Above Self scholarships each year.
