JOIN US at noon May 12 for our regular weekly lunch meeting at the Villa Milano. Adam Carr, Executive Director of Save a Warrior, will be our special guest and program for the day.
Save A Warrior is the nation’s premiere suicide prevention program for members of the United States Armed Forces returning to civilian life following military duty. Carr served for more than 12 years in the U.S. Army. As a Green Beret, he hunted Al Qaeda operatives, developed intelligence networks, conducted diplomatic relations, and briefed ambassadors and generals on geopolitical environments.
He will discuss Save a Warrior’s important work to address and reduce death by suicide among United States Armed Forces members returning from recent deployment, a documented, continuing crisis over the last several years.
As we prepare to honor all our fallen American military members on Memorial Day, May 30, please join us for this serious and important discussion about our Veterans. The luncheon featuring Mr. Carr’s presentation will begin at noon May 12 at the Villa Milano Banquet & Conference Center, 1630 Schrock Road.
