Our program will be about R.U.N. — Rise Up Now, a 501c3 formed by our own Immediate Past President Ellen Cathers.
Ellen will share with us about creating the Rise Up Now nonprofit in 2009, and its ongoing work since in Kenya and with Star House.
“Our mission is to always be picking a fight with Poverty,” she said of the Rise Up Now organization.
Please join us for lunch and to hear about this good work led by iPP Ellen during our noon luncheon on March 10 at the Villa Milano, 1630 Schrock Road.
