Since 1964, the Rotary Club of Westerville has awarded more than $500,000 in college scholarships to local high school graduates. The community tradition began with a single $500 scholarship to one student, to attend nursing school at what then was Otterbein College. Today, the scholarship is among the largest local financial awards available to Westerville’s graduating seniors.
A total award amount of $20,000 will again be awarded in Service Above Self Scholarships in 2023. For 2022, the Rotary Club of Westerville awarded four Service Above Self Scholarships totaling $20,000. A single $10,000 scholarship was awarded in 2020, and a single $5,000 scholarship was awarded in 2021.
