The Westerville South and St. Francis DeSales girls squads, and the Westerville North and Westerville Central boys teams came away with wins Wednesday, Dec. 28, in the Rotary Club of Westerville’s 30th Annual Phil Brown Basketball Classic, held at Otterbein University’s Rike Center.
The DeSales girls team downed North in the opening game of the Classic, 53-45.
The Westerville North boys beat Casstown Miami East in a very close second game, with the Warriors coming out on top 61-58.
The Westerville South girls showed no mercy in the third game, running away from Westerville Central 64-29.
And the Westerville Central boys defeated Westerville South in the final contest, prevailing in the back-and-forth game by a final score of 46-43.
